A Magical Evening at Wicked – Salmon Youth Centre Theatre Trip

On Wednesday evening, 12th November 2025, a group of our young people had the fantastic opportunity to experience the magic of Wicked at the Apollo Theatre in Victoria. The evening was filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Travelling together by bus, navigating the busy London streets the journey itself set the tone for the night—full of energy, anticipation, and plenty of fun as everyone looked forward to seeing one of the West End’s most iconic productions.
We were delighted to take a group of girls from our Sparks Club and 11–16s group. For some, this was their first time watching Wicked, while others were already familiar with the movie. Whether brand new or returning fans, every young person thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the spectacular production.
Throughout the show, our group engaged deeply with the story—connecting scenes to the film versions they knew and piecing together the twists and themes as the musical unfolded. Their overall average rating was an impressive 7/10, with many saying they would happily watch the show again.
Most importantly, the group shared that they would love to attend another theatre trip with Salmon in the future—proof of just how valuable and inspiring these experiences can be.
