Commitment to Community 
‘ This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you’ (John 15v12) There is no better test of your love for your Christian brothers and sisters than living with them! Being a Resi will mean you will live your everyday life as part of an intentional Christian community, this will bring many practical opportunities to give an receive the love that Jesus spoke of.

Commitment to Mission
‘And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6v8) If you have a heart for mission, you will find a good home here at Salmon, we have been working with the local community for over 100 years striving to meet the needs of the young people that we encounter. We are looking for people who want to serve God by serving the young people of Bermondsey.

Commitment to Growth
‘I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit’ John 15v16 Over the years, we have provided an ideal setting for people either considering or training for Christian mission and ministry and many of our former resis have gone on to further ministry. We believe that the combination of living in a Christian community and at the same time practically reaching out the the young people and wider community of Bermondsey provide the ideal training ground for ministry.  Resis also benefit from the training that is offered at Salmon to all volunteers and from working alongside experienced youth workers.
