Salmon Youth Centre Ball Out at London Youth Basketball Tournament!

On 30th October 2025, our young people from the Salmon Youth Centre headed over to the London Lions venue for this year’s London Youth Basketball Tournament, run in partnership with the London Basketball Association (LBA).
It was an amazing day full of energy, teamwork and great vibes all around. Everyone gave their best on the court and represented Salmon with pride!
Our U19s team showed real focus and determination, battling through every game and taking home the top spot – tournament champions! 🏆 Massive congratulations to them for bringing the trophy home to Salmon!
Our U15s played their hearts out too, making it all the way to the semi-finals. They gave everything and showed brilliant teamwork and spirit, even though they just missed out on a spot in the final. We’re super proud of how they performed!
One of the best parts of the day was seeing some of our older young people stepping up to coach and support the teams. They did an incredible job leading and encouraging the younger players during the 3rd place match. The team ended up finishing 4th, but their effort, passion and attitude made us so proud.
No matter the results, every single young person did Salmon proud. For some, it was their first ever tournament, and to see the confidence, teamwork and growth throughout the day was truly special.
A huge well done to all our players and coaches– you made the day one to remember! 💪🏀
