Salmon Youth Centre Meets Duke of Kent

Salmon Youth Centre was there by invitation from United Saint Saviours as Salmon were one of three organisations that they support. Sam Adofo, the Director of Salmon was in attendance with Young Leaders Megan Kelly, Jade Allison and Toshawn Morgan.

Salmon’s artist in Resident Eugene Ankomah had the opportunity to showcase the artwork created by himself and the young members of Salmon to present to the Duke of Kent, as well as the opportunity for to record an audio message of encouragement to everyone who works and support Salmon.

“Meeting the Duke was exciting, I wondered whether he would be interested in the art piece I was creating in front of him. He loved it and was asking questions as he was fascinated. It was a great moment.”
