The Worshipful Company of Distillers Charity of The Year- The Salmon Youth Centre.

The current Master Chris Searle and his team have spent the last three months fundraising and were able to raise an astonishing £40,052 which included £10,000 matched by the Childhood Trust. They have visited the centre several times to meet the staff team and young people and to hear about the work that we do. Part of the fundraising effort was to create videos of the Master interviewing staff hearing about the lives changed and the difference the money will make.

On Wednesday 6th September the current Master was joined by the Past Master, Chris Porter, Chair of Trustees, Grant Gordon, Clerk, Kim Lyons and Laurence Guinness CEO of the Childhood Trust to visit the centre once again and present a cheque to the Salmon staff and young people.
