German Residential

Following the success of last summer’s visit from our German partner group to London, the second part of our exciting exchange is now underway! This July, the Salmon youth group will be travelling to Hannover, Germany, for a 7-day cultural and social experience packed with learning, fun, and friendship.

Trip Highlights
Our young people will be immersed in German culture through a rich programme of activities, including:

🎉 Social Activities:

• Icebreaker sessions and group games to build friendship.

• Exploring the vibrant Maschseefest – Hannover’s summer festival

• An immersive VR experience exploring the history of Berlin

• Fun and interactive City Games Tour

🌍 Intercultural Learning:

• Day trip to Berlin, with a focus on the city’s historical significance

• Visiting Langenhagen’s House of Youth to learn about youth work in German

• Trying traditional and new foods

• Participating in an International Evening, with presentations from 7–8 different countries

• Engaging in discussions around culture, identity, and cooperation

This exchange not only strengthens the relationship between young people in London and Hannover, but also fosters global understanding, personal growth, and unforgettable memories.
