I have been involved in work with an International Charity for several yours, helping to improve the living standards and education of children from low-income families. My passion is to see young people from disadvantaged backgrounds given some level of support to help them grow into responsible citizens and able to provide for their families. On relocating from my home country to the UK, I sought similar opportunities and luckily found myself at the Salmon Youth Centre. I felt a sense of belonging from my first visit and decided to take on the role of a trustee. I aim to use my experience and my professional skills to support the young people of the centre to make significant changes to their lives and grow up to live meaningful and impactful lives.

As a little kid, I wanted to be an actress when I grew up. I used to have long moments when I would dream of being elegantly dressed and performing on huge stages. These dreams have spurred me on throughout my life, motivating me to endure and challenge the most difficult situations in my life.

I am a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience gained from several industries in the UK and Ghana. I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts. In addition, I have a master’s in business administration from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). I have previously worked as a Management Consultant with a Consulting firm in Ghana and was also a Treasurer Trustee of The Cassandra Centre.
